An unidentified representative from a pharmaceutical company suffered a medical emergency and collapsed during a White House press conference earlier today led by President Donald J. Trump. The individual appeared to faint and was assisted to the floor by Dr. Mehmet Oz, Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), prompting an immediate response from the White House Medical Unit as reporters were escorted out of the Oval Office.

Initial reports identifying the individual as Novo Nordisk executive Gordon Findlay—cited by several journalists present at the time—have since been refuted by both Novo Nordisk and the White House. The company clarified that its only representatives at the event were CEO Mike Doustdar and Executive Vice President Dave Moore.
