Indonesia’s trade deal with the United States is at risk of falling apart, with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer saying Jakarta is “backtracking” on several commitments it previously made. Indonesian officials told Greer that they cannot agree to certain binding provisions in the agreement, the Financial Times reports.
