The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia launched more than 499 missiles and drones during a massive overnight assault on Ukraine. Despite the scale of the attack, Ukrainian forces achieved a record-high interception rate of nearly 96%, thanks to a combination of air-defense systems and electronic warfare. The breakdown is as follows:
• 460 out of 479 Shahed-type attack drones were neutralized: 277 shot down by air defenses and 187 disabled via electronic warfare.
• 4 out of 4 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” air-launched ballistic missiles were intercepted.
• 10 out of 10 Kh-101 air-launched cruise missiles were downed.
• 3 out of 3 Kh-22 long-range anti-ship missiles were intercepted.
• 2 out of 2 Kh-31P air-to-surface missiles were successfully targeted.
• 1 out of 1 Kh-35 anti-ship cruise missile was shot down.

The strike marks one of the largest and most effectively countered aerial assaults since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
