According to three U.S. officials cited by the The Washington Post, Russia has provided Iran with intelligence on the locations of United States ships, aircraft, personnel, and other assets across the Middle East, described as a “pretty comprehensive effort.”

When asked earlier this week about the influence of China or Russia in the conflict with Iran, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth responded: “They’re not really a factor here.”
