The IDF has confirmed the elimination of Salah a-Din Zaara, the deputy commander of Hamas’s Sheikh Radwan (al-Furqan) Battalion, in an airstrike carried out on July 24. Zaara was responsible for orchestrating several attacks against Israeli forces and had previously led the battalion’s combat support unit.

Over the weekend, the Israeli Air Force conducted strikes on more than 130 terror targets, as four IDF divisions maintain active ground operations throughout Gaza.
