🇮🇱🇮🇪 Israel fires on Irish peacekeepers in Lebanon

“This morning, two peacekeepers were injured after an IDF Merkava tank fired at an observation tower at UNIFIL’s headquarters in Naqoura, hitting it directly and causing them to fall. Fortunately, the injuries are not serious, but both remain in the hospital,” according to a UNIFIL report.

Multiple sources indicate the injured were Irish peacekeepers who had earlier refused to withdraw despite Israeli orders.
