Hezbollah Deputy Leader Naim Qassem, in a recent speech, blamed Israel and the United States for Lebanon’s crises, arguing that true stability requires Israel’s withdrawal, an end to aggression, the release of prisoners, and national reconstruction.

He called on the Lebanese government to draft political, military, and diplomatic strategies to restore sovereignty and urged citizens to pressure officials by flooding social media and state institutions with proposals.

“I chose a slogan that reflects our reality: we demand that the Lebanese government restore national sovereignty,” Qassem declared. “Let us rally under this slogan for at least a week, so the government understands that we stand with it on sovereignty—and that it carries the responsibility to achieve it.”
