Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin arrived in Iran today, amidst heightened tensions between Iran and Israel following the elimination of the Lebanese Hezbollah leader, a group created and supported by Iran. During this visit, Russia and Iran promise to further strengthen their strategic ties, with Iran increasingly supplying weapons to Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, in exchange for financial support, military technologies, and diplomatic backing. In fact, Russia was one of the first nations to condemn the Israeli attack that resulted in the death of the Hezbollah leader.
