Today’s attempted assassination of the Hamas negotiating delegation in Doha by the Zionist occupation is a heinous crime, a blatant act of aggression, and a violation of international law. This attack also infringes on the sovereignty of Qatar, which, alongside Egypt, has played a responsible role in mediation efforts toward a ceasefire and prisoner exchange. It highlights the occupation’s intent to sabotage any agreement.

While the delegation survived, several brothers were martyred:

We also mourn Lance Corporal Badr Saad Mohammed Al-Humaidi of Qatar’s Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya). We pray for God’s mercy and paradise for all the martyrs.

The timing of the attack, while discussions over U.S. President Trump’s latest proposal were ongoing, shows that Netanyahu and his government aim to sabotage agreements, disregarding the lives of captives, the sovereignty of states, and regional stability. We hold the U.S. administration jointly responsible due to its consistent support for this aggression.

This crime underscores the imminent threat posed by the Zionist occupation, which continues policies of genocide, ethnic cleansing, starvation, and displacement against our people.

We call on the nations of the world, the United Nations, and all free forces to condemn this aggression, pressure the occupation to stop its war, ensure justice for Palestinians, and support their right to freedom and self-determination.

This assassination attempt will not alter our demands: an immediate halt to aggression, full withdrawal of occupation forces from Gaza, a fair prisoner exchange, humanitarian relief, and reconstruction. The determination of Hamas and its leadership remains unwavering, and we will continue the path of resistance until our independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital is established.
