For the first time, the U.S. has employed advanced long-range LRASM anti-ship missiles in strikes across the Middle East, according to a new Department of Defense budget request.

The missiles—AGM-158C-3 variants, the newest and longest-ranged models with a reach of up to 600 miles—were used "in support of the DOD response to the situation in Israel." Each missile costs approximately $3.2 million.
