The Kremlin announced that President Putin held a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron.

During the conversation, Putin stated, “The conflict in Ukraine is a direct consequence of Western policies. For years, the West has been turning Ukraine into an anti-Russian stronghold, and it is now actively prolonging the fighting.”
