The White House firmly rejected claims made by the Kremlin today that a time and location had been set for a meeting between U.S. President Donald J. Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Administration officials clarified that President Trump will only agree to meet with Putin if the Russian leader also consents to a joint meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
