The Israeli Air Force has carried out strikes on multiple IRGC and internal security headquarters in Tehran, the IDF confirmed. Key targets included the Basij headquarters, which enforces Islamic law and suppresses dissent, and the Alborz Corps, responsible for regime security throughout Tehran Province.

Additional strikes were launched against intelligence and security police offices involved in domestic surveillance and population control.

According to the IDF, these locations are critical to Iran’s military infrastructure and internal enforcement system. Damaging them significantly weakens both operational capabilities and the regime’s hold on power.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the operation also targeted the entrance to Evin Prison, known for holding political prisoners, and destroyed the “Destruction of Israel” countdown clock in Palestine Square—set to hit zero in 2040, the year Supreme Leader Khamenei once predicted Israel would cease to exist.
