About an hour after posting on Truth Social what seemed to be criticism of Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Justice Department for not prosecuting several of his political rivals from the Obama and Biden administrations, President Trump followed up with another post praising Bondi’s performance as Attorney General. He also announced his recommendation of Lindsey Halligan, a member of his legal team currently serving as Special Assistant to the President, to be the next U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
