Marco Rubio announced a halt on all visitor visas from Gaza, stating:

“Effective immediately, all visitor visas for individuals from Gaza are suspended while we carry out a comprehensive review of the procedures used to issue a limited number of temporary medical-humanitarian visas in recent days.”
