According to an exclusive report from Axios, the United States has been holding sensitive discussions with several countries about forming an international peacekeeping force for deployment to the Gaza Strip. Washington reportedly plans to present Israel with a detailed proposal in the coming days or weeks.

The proposed force, organized under U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and called the International Stabilization Force (ISF), would include a new Palestinian police force—trained and vetted by the United States, Egypt, and Jordan—alongside troops from multiple Arab and Muslim nations that have expressed interest in joining. So far, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, and Turkey have publicly indicated their willingness to contribute forces to the ISF.
