British oil company BP announced on Monday (4) that it has made its largest oil and gas discovery in 25 years in the Santos Basin, Brazil.

BP holds 100% ownership of the Bumerangue block, with Brazilian state-owned Pré-Sal Petróleo SA serving as the operator of the production sharing agreement.
