U.S. President Donald J. Trump announced on Truth Social that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will hold his second-ever press conference at the Pentagon tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. ET. He is expected to be joined by “Military Representatives,” likely including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine, to address the recent U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
President Trump stated the purpose of the briefing is to “defend the honor of our great American pilots,” adding, “These patriots were very upset! After flying for 36 hours through hostile airspace, they landed knowing the mission was a LEGENDARY success—then two days later, they started seeing fake news from CNN and The Failing New York Times. It was a slap in the face.”
