Hamas statement on October 7th:

“Today marks the second anniversary of the blessed Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood—October 7th, the glorious day of the crossing—when the sons of Palestine and our courageous resistance took the first step on the path toward the liberation of Palestine.”

“For two years, our people have endured pain, injustice, oppression, immense suffering, and great sacrifice, as the eyes of the resistance remain fixed on the freedom of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa, and all of Palestine.”

“These two years have been a testament to the legendary steadfastness and resilience of the brave Palestinian resistance in the face of one of the most brutal colonial occupations known to mankind.”

“For two years, we have carried Gaza—and all of Palestine—with its people, their pain, oppression, suffering, and hopes—in our minds, hearts, and above our heads, leading them toward the vast freedom of Holy Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa.”
