Twelve F-35A Lightning II aircraft from the U.S. Air Force’s 421st Fighter Squadron, 388th Fighter Wing, based at Hill Air Force Base, arrived earlier today at RAF Lakenheath as a transit stop before continuing their deployment toward the Middle East.

The movement comes amid a broader buildup of air power across Europe and the region, widely viewed as part of increasing military pressure on Iran.
