Authorities allege that he gathered information on Jewish individuals and institutions in Berlin, potentially in preparation for future attacks.

Ali S. was apprehended in Denmark and is expected to be extradited to Germany to face charges. The case has heightened concerns about Iran’s intelligence activities in Europe, particularly targeting Jewish communities.

In response, the Iranian Embassy in Berlin has denied any involvement, rejecting claims that a Danish national was plotting attacks on Jewish sites.
