Images show the apparent total loss of E-3G “Sentry” AEW&C aircraft 81-0005, operated by the U.S. Air Force’s 552nd Air Control Wing out of Tinker Air Force Base, following yesterday’s Iranian ballistic missile and drone strike on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

The attack appears to have deliberately targeted the rear section of the aircraft—home to its rotating radar dome—which contains critical systems, including antennas for the AN/APY-2 surveillance radar.
