⚡️After a 7.1-magnitude earthquake hit the Tibet Autonomous Region in western China yesterday, where the storied city of Shigatse was heavily damaged, Chinese state-run media outlets have now said that 126 people have been confirmed dead and 188 confirmed injured as rescue efforts are ongoing. More than 30,000 affected residents have been relocated to safe areas after preliminary reports show that over 3,600 houses have collapsed.
