Kennedy Jr. dismissed all members of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) today, calling the move a “clean sweep” aimed at “restoring public trust in vaccine science.” The ACIP, composed of medical and public health experts, plays a key role in advising the CDC Director on vaccine policy and disease prevention strategies in the United States.
