According to UN Resolution 1701, Hezbollah was supposed to stay at least 40 kilometers from the Israeli border, behind the Litani River. They have never complied with the agreement, despite Israel fulfilling its part.
Now, Israel has sent a message to all villages south of the Litani (between the river and Israel), warning of the need to evacuate these areas.
Interestingly, Israel has also sent this message to villages north of the Litani River.
