Dictator Nicolás Maduro is already at that stage where he knows something serious is about to happen to his regime, so he tries to appeal with the narrative that they are “good guys” who only want their sovereignty respected — their sovereignty to traffic drugs, steal elections, persecute, imprison, and kill opponents.
