An Iranian official told Al Jazeera earlier: “If the United States directly enters the confrontation alongside the Zionist entity, Hezbollah will respond. Any American involvement in the conflict will trigger an unprecedented threat to enemy vessels. Naval strikes and targeting deployed forces will be on the table if the U.S. joins the fight.”
