United Kingdom 🇬🇧: The government is expected to propose mandatory chemical castration for sex offenders as part of a reform of the country’s sentencing laws.

The proposal also states that murderers, rapists, and other serious sexual and violent offenders could be released after serving half of their sentences — instead of two-thirds — if they participate in rehabilitation programs and comply with prison rules.
