Hong Kong-based shipping company W Ships is now offering weekly cargo deliveries from China to Israel through the Red Sea, despite ongoing threats from the Houthis. To minimize risk, shipments are redirected through Egypt, where cargo is offloaded and transferred to different vessels before proceeding to Israel. While this workaround reduces delivery times, it also increases shipping costs. Most major global carriers continue to steer clear of the Red Sea route.
