Israeli forces announce the destruction of an approximately 1-kilometer-long Hamas tunnel in Beit Hanoun.

The tunnel, discovered during operations by the Northern Brigade near the ceasefire line (often referred to as the "Yellow Line"), contained hideout rooms, weapons, and explosive devices. The elite Yahalom Unit carried out the mapping, neutralization, and eventual demolition of the underground route.

According to the Israel Defense Forces' assessment, despite this and other successes, roughly 60% of Hamas's extensive tunnel network across Gaza remains intact and operational.

This action is part of ongoing efforts to neutralize underground threats in areas under Israeli control, even amid the current ceasefire framework.
