In a joint statement on Tuesday, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark announced a combined contribution of approximately $500 million to a NATO-led effort aimed at arming Ukraine with U.S.-made weapons and equipment. The package will include “Patriot” interceptor missiles to bolster Ukraine’s air defenses. “Our goal is to ensure Ukraine receives the necessary equipment without delay, while also reinforcing NATO’s support for Ukraine’s defense and securing peace on terms acceptable to Ukraine,” said Norwegian Defence Minister Tore O. Sandvik.
