Iran escalates digital blackout with Starlink jamming

Iran has intensified its digital blackout by reportedly deploying military-grade jammers to disrupt access to Starlink satellite internet. According to the Iranian opposition outlet IranWire, despite claims that tens of thousands of Starlink units are operating inside the country, satellite connections have also been affected. Reports indicate that around 30% of Starlink uplink and downlink traffic was initially disrupted, quickly increasing to more than 80%.
