Two completely separate groups have now claimed responsibility for the two rockets launched earlier from southern Syria at the Golan Heights in Israel. The first claim came from the Mohammed Deif Brigades, a group that alleges affiliation with Hamas, though Hamas has publicly stated they have no knowledge of the group.

The second claim was made by Kataib Awli al-Bass, a faction within the Islamic Resistance Front with ties to Iran and Hezbollah. In addition to claiming responsibility, Kataib Awli al-Bass also released video footage purportedly showing the launchers they used in southern Syria.
