The Shin Bet has announced the arrest of over 60 Hamas operatives and the seizure of 22 weapons in what it describes as one of the largest crackdowns on a terror network in Judea and Samaria in recent years.

Conducted over three months in coordination with the IDF and Israeli police, the operation uncovered a major Hamas infrastructure in Hebron, intended to carry out imminent attacks. Many of those arrested are former prisoners who were actively recruiting, arming, and training new operatives for shooting and bombing attacks.

Interrogations revealed activities including firearms training, explosives production, and intelligence gathering against Israeli targets. Authorities say ten planned attacks were successfully foiled, and an underground hideout was discovered.

The Shin Bet called it the most complex investigation in Judea and Samaria in the past decade. Indictments are being filed for serious charges, including murder and leadership of a terrorist organization.
