A multinational paratrooper force—including troops from the United States, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and more than 37 other nations—conducted an airborne insertion and simulated raid at Mohamed Naguib Military Base in Egypt during BRIGHT STAR 25. The exercise, held September 8, 2025, featured a mock terrorist attack scenario with explosions, mortar fire, urban combat drills, rappelling operations, and a chemical-clearing mission. Forces also coordinated with emergency responders to deliver humanitarian aid and extinguish fires as part of the training.
