Senior Iranian officials reportedly told the U.S. delegation during last weekend’s nuclear talks in Oman, that Iran was willing to accept limits on its enrichment of near weapons-grade uranium, but not without “watertight guarantees” that U.S. President Trump would not again ditch a future nuclear deal, similar to his withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018.
