Belarus’ Ministry of Defense has released footage showing two U.S. Air Force officers attending this weekend’s “Zapad-2025” exercise, a large-scale annual drill conducted jointly by Belarus and Russia. This year’s exercise is being observed by military delegations from 23 countries — including three NATO members: Hungary, Turkey, and the United States.
The American delegation, which includes U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Bryan Shoupe and John Benson, was seen watching the drills alongside other foreign military observers as Belarusian and Russian forces carried out the maneuvers.
