On Monday, the Taiwanese Army carried out a live-fire drill on the Island of Kinmen, less than 10 miles from the coast of China, as part of the ongoing “Han Kuang Exercises” meant to simulate the defense of Taiwan from a full-scale invasion by China. During the drill, Taiwanese M60A3 and M41D Tanks, CM21 and CM22 Armored-Personnel Carriers, M1 240mm and 105mm Howitzers, and ground troops expended over 30,000 rounds on Kinmen.
