Alongside Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Khalil al-Hayya, nearly the entire remaining leadership of the group—including Mohammed Darwish, Mousa Abu Marzouk, Husam Badran, and Taher al-Nunu—were reportedly present at the meeting targeted earlier in Doha, Qatar. According to reports, the leaders had convened to discuss the ceasefire proposal put forward last week by U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.
