Sources within the Syrian government in Damascus report that overnight, the Israeli Air Force conducted two waves of airstrikes—around a dozen in total—targeting Syrian Army positions near al-Kiswah, south of the capital. The strikes reportedly caused multiple casualties among Syrian forces. During and after the first wave, Israeli Special Forces are said to have carried out a landing near Jabal al-Mana, conducting an unspecified ground operation before withdrawing to Israel. Neither the airstrikes nor the ground operation have been confirmed by the Israel Defense Forces.
