The Trump administration has reiterated its request for Israel to cease airstrikes in Syria and pursue dialogue with the Damascus government to reduce tensions, a senior U.S. official told Axios.

According to the official, U.S. Special Envoy to Syria Tom Brack met with Israeli Minister Ron Dermer on both Tuesday and Wednesday to press for de-escalation.
