The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG-102) was recently seen docked at the Amador International Cruise Terminal in Panama City, on the Pacific side of the Panama Canal. The Sampson is one of three destroyers deployed by the U.S. Navy to the southern Caribbean Sea as part of a counter-narcotics task force operating off the coast of Venezuela.
