According to Israeli security sources and Iran’s state-run Fars News Agency, the Israeli Air Force recently carried out strikes on two of Iran’s largest steel facilities—Khuzestan Steel near Ahvaz and Mobarakeh Steel in Isfahan—both reportedly partially owned by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The strikes were said to have been directly ordered by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz.
