Mark Rutte assumed leadership of NATO on October 1st, and by today, October 3rd, he has already visited Ukraine. As Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Rutte was a strong supporter of Ukrainian defense, being one of the first to offer F-16 fighter jets to bolster Ukraine's air force.
