Bloomberg reports that following yesterday’s White House summit with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, U.S. President Donald J. Trump held a call with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. According to the report, Trump pressed Orban on why he continues to block Ukraine’s bid for European Union membership, urging him to end his opposition as most EU states support Kyiv’s accession. Orban, in turn, reportedly signaled interest in hosting the next round of talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Zelensky.
