France and Czechia have announced they will not participate in purchasing American-made weapons for Ukraine. Paris is prioritizing the growth of its own defense industry and aims to reduce Europe's reliance on the U.S. military-industrial complex.

Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala stated that his country will instead focus on alternative forms of military assistance to Kyiv, such as the continued supply of ammunition.

Meanwhile, several other nations—including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and various Scandinavian countries—have expressed their willingness to join the U.S.-led initiative.
