The U.S. has placed its military bases across the Middle East on high alert amid fears of a potential Iranian attack.

“Commanders have raised the alert level for American forces stationed at bases throughout the region, including in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. The United States currently has over 40,000 troops deployed across the Middle East.”
