Hamas claims Israel failed to assassinate its negotiations team, despite the deaths of five members, including the son of chief negotiator Khalil Al-Hayya. The group also blames the U.S. and insists its ceasefire demands remain unchanged.

In its first official statement since today’s Israeli strike in Doha, Qatar, Hamas said all delegation members survived, while confirming the deaths of Jihad Labad (Abu Bilal), Director of Khalil Al-Hayya’s office; Hammam Al-Hayya (Abu Yahya), Al-Hayya’s son; Abdullah Abdul Wahid (Abu Khalil); Moamen Hassouna (Abu Omar); Ahmed Al-Mamluk (Abu Malik); and a Qatari security officer.
