⚡️Carlos Del Toro, in one of his Final Directives as U.S. Secretary of Navy, announced earlier today the Namesake of Two Future Ford-Class Nuclear-Powered Aircraft Carriers; with the first being named after the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton and dubbed the USS William J. Clinton (CVN-82), and the second named after the 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush and dubbed the USS George W. Bush (CVN-83). This follows the Naming Protocol of most Modern Aircraft Carriers in the U.S. Navy, which are named after Presidents or Legacy Carriers; with the USS Doris Miller (CVN-81), being the most recent Exception to that Rule.
