Sam Richardson, CEO of SPCK (a Christian publishing house), said that these numbers show “we are at the heart of a significant cultural shift regarding matters of faith and religion.”
He added that events like the COVID-19 pandemic and the mental health crisis have led people to “reflect deeply on their spirituality” and to want to “draw their own conclusions by reading Christian books in general, and the Bible in particular.”
